Born in Oslo, October 5th 1970; grew up in rural Hurdal, Akershus. Currently residing at Enerhaugen, in the eastern part of central Oslo.
Released his debut solo album "Changing Places" with his trio on ECM 2003, with a second release "The Ground" in 2005. The trio has toured extensively after the first release, and has a growing audience in the USA, the UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Australia, Japan and Norway. Tord also plays with a wide variety of major Scandinavian jazz musicians (cf. The Music), and composes music for most of his projects.
